Microsoft Server 2003 "end of life" date exteneded to July 2015 - how will you be affected?
Microsoft have announced an extended date of 14th July 2015 for Mircosoft Server 2013 to reach "end of life". This means that similar to XP, Microsoft will no longer create security or any other updates for the operating system. Servers currently running Server 2003 should be upgraded to Server 2012 (R2) to avoid any potential issues.

Windows XP reached "end of life" in April 2014 - what does this mean for those still running the OS?
Support for Windows XP will come to an end in April this year, but how will this really affect users?
This means that in short, Microsoft will not release any further security updates or indeed updates at all. It also means that future applications will not be built with compatability with Windows XP in mind. It may also mean that most software providers may no longer support their software if it is being run on a Windows XP. If you have any Wondows XP machines and are thinking of upgrade your operating systems, talk to Sumari today to see how we can help!
